They were near the Park Road and St Margaret's Road junction at about 8.45pm when they were approached by two youths who demanded they hand over cash. Both teenagers were then assaulted, with one sustaining a fractured nose and the other soreness to his face and head.

Both boys were taken to the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston for treatment and checks. A necklace, a pair of glasses and a tobacco tin were stolen.

Both the offenders are described as white and in their mid to late teens. One was of big build, with very short blond hair and was wearing a grey Nike top while the other was around 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build wearing a brown hooded jacket with the hood up.
