Around 180 members were at the meeting to hear accounts of past criminal events that had occurred in the progression of retired chief inspector Allan Whittaker's life in the local police force, whose work had brought him into contact with many events through his working career.

A vote of thanks was given by Rowland Berry. The next speaker is Clair Richard whose talk is entitled nun to mum to Unicef on Wednesday, May 27 at 10.30am.
