A bird of prey has been reunited with its owner.

It was found in Barnby, near Beccles, yesterday morning, leading police to appeal for its owner to come forward.

The bird, which was described as being similar in size to an eagle, with bells on its talons, was found in the garden of a home in The Street, Barnby, shortly before midday.

This morning police confirmed it had been reunited with its owner.
