THE search to find Slippy, a much-loved Greyhound who went missing on Christmas Day, has had a happy ending.
The Journal reported yesterday on how Slippy's owners were appealing for help as they looked to be reunited with their beloved white male Greyhound with a brindle eye, who went missing from Bridge Road in Oulton Broad about 9pm on Christmas Day.
But within hours of publicising that the loveable pet dog was missing, there was good news last night.
His delighted owners told The Journal: 'The search for Slippy the missing Greyhound is over after he was found safe and well on a boat after chasing ducks.'
