Firefighters spent just over 30 minutes dealing with a van blaze in Lowestoft.

A crew from Lowestoft South fire station were called out about 9pm on Friday night (May 12) following reports of a vehicle fire in Commercial Road.

They were joined by Lowestoft police officers, who provided traffic control at the scene.

A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the fire crew quickly put out the flames, with two breathing apparatus sets used, as the fire was under control by 9.32am.
