Vandalism puts lives at risk

RESCUING for the umpteenth time this year the life-saving gear that some moron had thrown in the sea I thought wouldn't it be ironic if the person responsible was one day in difficulty in the sea and his rescue was impossible due to equipment being vandalised.

RESCUING for the umpteenth time this year the life-saving gear that some moron had thrown in the sea I thought wouldn't it be ironic if the person responsible was one day in difficulty in the sea and his rescue was impossible due to equipment being vandalised.

In my day such stupidity would be swiftly and painfully followed by retribution delivered by the hand of the local beat bobby or an irate father.

Sadly those responsible for such acts probably see little of either.
