Hundreds of rock n roll enthusiasts descended on Pontins holiday park in Pakefield last weekend for the annual ‘Wildest cats in Town’ festival.
The event showcases internationally acclaimed bands, including a number of successful American acts such as Bobby Crafford from the famous rockabilly group The Legendary Pacers, as well as bare-knuckle piano player Rip Masters and Elvis tribute act Travis LeDoyt.
Event organiser, Ritchie Gee, said: “It’s a real friendly event. Everyone is there to have a good time and speak the international language of rock n roll.”
Sunday morning saw a procession of 200 classic British and American cars from Pontins to Lowestoft’s Royal Green, headed by Triumph and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Locals came out in their masses to see the cavalcade and the passengers kitted out in 1950s attire, before the group headed back to Pontins for further rock n roll entertainment.
