Two ugly sisters jumped aboard a Wherry Lines train from Lowestoft to Norwich to promote their pantomime.

Lav and Lou, from Cinderella at the Lowestoft Marina Theatre, entertained passengers on the 8.50am from Lowestoft to Norwich on Tuesday.

Then at Norwich station the comical duo encouraged people to jump on a train to go and see the pantomime which also stars Coronation Street and Carry On star Amanda Barrie and runs between December 17 and January 4.

Theatre-goers who travel by rail will receive a free tea or coffee either during the interval at any performance, or before or after the show on production of a valid rail ticket.

Greater Anglia's area customer service manager, James Reeve, said: 'Abellio Greater Anglia's Wherry Lines services offer a real alternative to the car with the added benefits of no parking problems. We are delighted to welcome the Ugly Sisters on board one of our services and support the Marina Theatre in encouraging theatre goers to arrive by train.'

For the panto, rail passengers who have booked in advance must show their valid rail ticket to receive complimentary refreshments.
