I WOULD like to say well done to the committee of the Promoting Pakefield Group who organised the Village Summer Fete on the green between the Jolly Sailors and the Trowel and Hammer, on Sunday, June 15.
I WOULD like to say well done to the committee of the Promoting Pakefield Group who organised the Village Summer Fete on the green between the Jolly Sailors and the Trowel and Hammer, on Sunday, June 15.
It was very well supported and the children loved the donkey rides (memories of the years gone by) and they certainly seemed to be enjoying all the activities provided for them.
The sun came out, after the heavy showers of rain, and added to the carnival atmosphere.
Again well done to all involved and we look forwards to another successful Pakefield Event in 2009.
