More than 30 sacks of rubbish were collected during an annual litter pick held by the Gunton Woodland Community Project.
Volunteers turned out for the event on Saturday, November 11, meeting bright and early at the A47 end of Gainsborough Drive were maps were given out and registration details were taken.
Everyone offering up their time to help was given a free raffle ticket and set off to clean up their allocated spots around the Gunton area.
Volunteers were rewarded later in the morning with refreshments and hot savouries, supplied by Tesco, and the raffle was drawn.
The group also observed two minutes' silence at 11am for Armistice Day.
In total 39 people gave up their time to help, collecting rubbish and various other items that had been dumped. The rubbish will now be collected by Waveney Norse.
David Briggs, chairman of Gunton Woodland Community Project, said: 'Our thanks to Tesco and Waveney Norse and all those that helped on the day.'
