A charity for people with terminal illnesses is seeking volunteers to hand out daffodil pins in return for donations.

Marie Curie is hoping to get more people than ever to wear the pins as part of its annual Great Daffodil Appeal in March.

Money raised from the event will enable nurses from the charity support more people with one-to-one care in their own homes.

Angela Bussey, the charity’s Suffolk fundraiser, said: “Volunteering to collect donations in return for daffodil pins is a fun and easy way to get involved in the local community. You can collect with a friend or partner and know that you are helping Marie Curie be there when we are needed most.”

Those wishing to volunteer two hours of their time can visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil or call free on 0800 304 7025. Alternatively call Angela Bussey on 01473 831329 or email: angela.bussey@mariecurie.org.uk
