A Lowestoft charity is inviting the community to join them for a mass walk in aid of Deafblind Awareness Week.
The walk will begin at 11.30am on Saturday June 24 at Sense, London Road North, before heading through the town and along Claremont Pier.
Lowestoft’s Sense shop helps to generate essential funds that support people who are deafblind, have sensory impairments or complex needs to live more independent lives.
The walk is part of a national initiative which will see hundreds of people across England and Wales taking to the streets.
Kim Stanbrook, assistant shop manager and leader of the walk, said: “We’re really excited to be taking part in this exciting national initiative.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the people in the local area with disabilities and we’re hoping that as many people as possible will join us on the day.”
