Four members of the Waveney Author Group have taken time out of their writing schedule to organise three events to raise money for charity.

Authors Diana Bettinson, Franky Sayer, Sandra Delf and Suzan Collins have chosen to fund raise for the Cats Protection Anglia Coastal, British Legion and Air Ambulance charities at events in September, November and December.

This Saturday, September 29 is the first of the three events as Suzan Collins has chosen Cats Protection Anglia Coastal, with stallholders raising money for the charity at Stella Maris Hall in Gordon Road, Lowestoft from 10am to 2pm.

There is free admission to the event, with guests encouraged to look for that unique Christmas gift as a range the stalls, refreshments and a raffle is held.

'Kickstart your Christmas shopping,' a spokesman for the event organisers said.
