THE Broads Authority's 20th anniversary public meeting will be held at 2.30pm this Saturday at Waveney House Hotel, Puddingmoor, Beccles. Doors will open at 2pm offering a chance for people to chat to officers.

Broads Authority members and staff will present short summaries of the diverse work of the authority under the theme, “Improving the Broads”. It will range from habitat restoration and boating to planning and recreation.

He will cover climate change, the economic downturn, budget reviews, toll reduction for dinghies, new approaches to management and the Broads' 20th-anniversary and the 60th anniversary for National Parks.

There will be opportunities to ask questions at the end of each presentation and during a final session at the end of the afternoon.

Parking is extremely limited at the hotel, so people are advised to park in the town. A map is available on the Broads Authority's website www.broads-authority.gov.uk
