Probus is the association of retired and semi-retired men and women who join together in clubs throughout the UK and the world.

The basic purpose of the Probus Club is to provide regular gatherings of persons who is in retirement, appreciate and value opportunities to meet others of similar interests.

The basic purpose of the Probus Club is to provide regular gatherings of persons who is in retirement, appreciate and value opportunities to meet others of similar interests.

Each meeting includes a guest speaker on a wide variety of topics. The club from time to time arranges day outings to places of interest. Holidays for members are also arranged.

There is a well attended Luncheon Club, which meet once a month and a bowls section which play at 10am on a Monday and Friday, both indoors and outdoors.

Waveney Men's Probus Clubs meets at 10am on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Pakefield Church Hall, Pakefied. Anyone interested in joining is invited to come to the club for an initial visit. If you need transport, a member will collect you and return you home.
