Ernie Smith is suffering from a chest infection and Brian Poppy is in hospital and members send their best wishes to both. Gerry Sykes said the outdoor bowling season opens at Kensington Gardens on May 1. Len Butcher said the luncheon club meeting at Rookery Park Golf Club on Thursday is well supported. The president gave a vote of thanks. The next meeting is on April 28 and the speaker will be Alan Romack when his subject will be metal detecting.
