Unfortunately Terry Harris, Doug Barker and Maurice Banner are not keeping too well, all the members wish them a speedy recovery. Brian Poppy is on the mend at home. Gerald Sykes outlined the forthcoming outdoor season for the bowls section. Len Butcher stated that the next Luncheon Club meeting will be at the Sailors Home at the end of May. He also reminded members to fetch raffle prizes for the spring lunch on Wednesday. The coffee break was courtesy of Karl Andrews. Today's speaker was Alan Womack who spoke about Metal Detecting. He brought along many artefacts that he found, that were many centuries old. The next meeting will be on May 12 when George Cable and Ron Elliot will be the speakers.
