The meeting was held at St Peter's Church Hall on Tuesday where president Bernard Bedford welcomed 26 members. Birthday congratulations were read out for Gerry Sykes. Maurice Banner and Ernie Smith have been admitted to hospital and the members wished them a speedy recovery. Len Butcher announced that the next luncheon club meeting will be on July 30 at the Bear and Bells, Beccles. The speaker was Trish Potter from Age Concern who gave an informative talk on helping the elderly. The next meeting will be on July 28 when the speaker will be Richard Mann and his subject V2 the Rocket. The coffee break was courtesy of Aubrey Chadwick.
