At the RAOB Club, Gordon Road on May 12, chairman Jean Forbes and members enjoyed Tony Brown's presentation of nature through the seasons. Commencing with snow on snowdrops for spring, the lifecycle of moths and dragonflies were described for summer with pictures of swallows and house martins. Many kinds of fungi were illustrated for autumn while leafless trees, holly berries and frost and snow indicated winter had arrived. Veronica Reynolds thanked Mr Brown for his commentary and excellent photography. On May 26 John Chipperfield will present Incas and Penguins. For further information about the club call 01502 560256.
