At the RAOB Club on April 28, chairman Jean Forbes introduced Terry Weatherly who, in his presentation, showed pictures of many buildings in central and north Lowestoft and Pakefield including the former Tuttles store, the railway station, the GPO and Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. He described the different styles of architecture and had researched the history of many of the buildings, some of which had changed use over the years. Enid Gunby thanked Mr Weatherly for his talk. Visitors are welcome at the next meeting on May 12 when Tony Brown will present nature through the seasons. For further information about the club call 01502 560256.
