Volunteers from the Friends of Nicholas Everitt Park recently took time out from their weekly efforts to maintain the popular park in Oulton Broad as a special service was held.

On Thursday, November 9 the Friends of Nicholas Everitt Park volunteers laid a wreath at the memorial of the Coastal Forces Veterans Association, which is situated within the park.

A spokesman for FONEP said: “As the Lowestoft branch of the CFVA has now been disbanded, the Friends group agreed, along with the remaining CFVA and British Legion members, to lay a wreath on their behalf to ensure their act of remembrance will continue.”

The Friends of Nicholas Everitt Park group would like to acknowledge the support given by Oulton Broad Parish Council.
