UNION bosses have promised to ramp up strike action after last ditch talks with National Express East Anglia broke down today.Train drivers' union Aslef threatened a week-long walk out next month after the feuding factions failed to resolve a bitter dispute over pay and conditions.
UNION bosses have promised to ramp up strike action after last ditch talks with National Express East Anglia broke down today.
Train drivers' union Aslef threatened a week-long walk out next month after the feuding factions failed to resolve a bitter dispute over pay and conditions.
Last ditch talks were held today in an attempt to avoid another 48 hour strike, starting at midnight tonight, but an agreement could not be reached.
Following discussions, Aslef leader said National Express 'seems to live on another planet.'
The rail unions will continue with industrial action this week and a fourth strike is planned for Thursday and Friday next week.
