Fundraisers from the Lowestoft-based Lauren Lou appeal, which raises money and awareness in aid of cancer charities, were involved in two days of collecting.
The cancer fundraising group held a two day bucket collection and table top sale of merchandise at the Tesco store in Leisure Way, Gunton on Friday and Saturday August 4/5.
The weekend of fundraising covered 24 hours of collecting, and Gary Bennett, from the Lauren Lou appeal, said: 'My awesome volunteers raised £1,391.76 for our cancer appeals fund that helps local people.
'Thank you also to Susan Egan, Tesco community champion, for inviting us in store and looking after us all so well. Our thanks also to the Tesco management and staff and their kind donating customers for being so generous.
'Thank you to my lovely, kind volunteers who give up their spare time to help others in need.'
