A RALLYING call has gone out to companies in Lowestoft and Waveney urging them to get involved in one of the highest-profile events on the local business calendar.

A RALLYING call has gone out to companies in Lowestoft and Waveney urging them to get involved in one of the highest-profile events on the local business calendar.

The third annual 2010 Lowestoft and Waveney Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, sponsored by and held at The Zest Rooms at Potters at Hopton, will be held on December 2.

Launching the awards, Linda Thornton, chief officer for the Lowestoft and Waveney Chamber of Commerce said: “Awards are one of the most powerful and cost-effective marketing tools and winning a prestigious business award will help your organisation to stand out from the crowd, send a positive message to your existing customers and attract new business,”

“The Chamber Business Awards are one of the areas highest profile awards and winning an accolade will say a lot about the quality of your organisation and the strength of your management team.”

The chamber is hoping to attract entries from across all sectors, - from large international PLCs and public sector organisations to dynamic and innovative local firms and small businesses.

“The winners all have one thing in common - they are truly excellent at what they do and have proved this by winning a Business Award,” Ms Thornton said. “We want to help you raise the profile of your organisation and enhance its reputation by promoting the great work you are doing.”
