Witnesses sought after moped is set on fire in Lowestoft

A moped worth about £400 has been stolen and set on fire in Lowestoft.

The vehicle was found on fire in Factory Street shortly after 4am on Sunday, December 27.

Later that morning, at about 9.15am, police received a call reporting that a moped had been stolen from the garden of a home on Church Road.

It had been last seen around 8.30pm on Boxing Day.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity, or anyone with information about who set fire to the moped, to call Lowestoft police by dialling 101, quoting crime number 37/23093/15.
