The ambulance service have confirmed the death of a woman in Southwold.
Emergency services were called to the Promenade in the town at 3.59pm on Friday, April 27 after a woman in her 70s collapsed.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: 'The East of England Ambulance Service Trust dispatched a community first responder, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer, an ambulance, and an East Anglian Air Ambulance.
'Sadly despite the paramedics' best effort, the woman passed away at the scene.
'Our thoughts go out to her family.'
