A WOMAN escaped injury after a car left a major north Suffolk road and hit a tree.
Police, three fire crews and the East of England ambulance service were called to the A146 Beccles Road at Barnby at noon today (Tuesday) following reports of a 'single vehicle road traffic collision.'
Initial fears that the driver of the blue Vauxhall Astra was trapped were allayed as the woman was 'released before arrival, as 'all persons were accounted for' as the scene was cleared by 12.30pm.
Police confirmed that the female driver had not suffered any injuries in the collision.
