Woman injured after Lowestoft assault

POLICE are hunting a gang of women who are believed to be responsible for an attack on a 49-year-old woman.

The 49-year-old suffered bruising to her body, arms and face after she was assaulted in London Road North, close to the Artillery Way junction, about 12.

POLICE are hunting a gang of women who are believed to be responsible for an attack on a 49-year-old woman.

The 49-year-old suffered bruising to her body, arms and face after she was assaulted in London Road North, close to the Artillery Way junction, about 12.45am on Sunday (November 22).

“A group of around five younger women are believed to have been involved in the incident and police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the altercation or anyone with information about those involved,” a police spokesman said.
