Fundraisers from the Lowestoft-based Lauren Lou appeal, which continues to raise money and awareness in aid of cancer charities and local causes, have been boosted by a recent collection.

Last Friday, October 13, a collection was held in the Tesco Gunton store.

Gary Bennett, of Team Lauren Lou, said: “What can I say but a massive thank you to the Tesco store in Gunton for having us in their store on Friday, October 13 and their very kind donating customers.

“Thank you also to my volunteers at Team Lauren Lou Cancer fundraising for raising an incredible £668.77 in just one day’s collecting.

“This is an absolutely mindblowing amount – thank you each and everyone.”
