A YOUNG child has been injured after a collision in Lowestoft.

Ambulance crews were called today after a youngster - believed to be a seven-year-old boy - was involved in a collision with a car in Westwood Avenue at 12.

Ambulance crews were called today after a youngster - believed to be a seven-year-old boy - was involved in a collision with a car in Westwood Avenue at 12.45pm today.

The young boy was treated at the scene and a spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said that early reports suggested the victim's injuries were not thought to be serious.
