Young footballers across Yarmouth and Waveney are being invited to work on producing a specially written song for Euro 2008.The project - which will involve up to 30 football fans and players, aged four to 18, collaborating with two well-known songwriters - is one of a number being put on as part of a two-year national singing programme called Sing Up Communities.

The project - which will involve up to 30 football fans and players, aged four to 18, collaborating with two well-known songwriters - is one of a number being put on as part of a two-year national singing programme called Sing Up Communities.
Yarmouth charity SeaChange Arts is organising events locally and appealing for schools and youth organisations to take part.
Spokesman Penny Wright said: “Research has shown singing can improve learning, behaviour, health and confidence - and it's fun. There's a range of different activities available and no singing experience is required.”
Starting later this month, they will be offering young men the chance to work with a professional opera singer in free workshops.
