A 10-year-old girl was approached by a man in Lowestoft yesterday morning.
She was walking along the footpath at Clarkes Lane towards Grove Road North at about 7.55am when she stopped to remove a stone from her shoe.
She then became aware of a man close to her who was reaching out for her. The girl ran off and the incident was reported to police a short time later.
The man is described as white, in his late teens to early 30s, of medium build, wearing a navy blue hooded top with the hood pulled up around his face, dark baggy trousers and white shoes.
