This remarkable photograph of a natural waterfall was taken by seven-year-old Marcus Goldsby, of Beccles.

He captured the image using a Canon 350D camera, belonging to his father Jon Goldsby a previous Picture of the Week winner, while on holiday in the Elan Valley near Rhayader, Powys in Wales.

The Year Three pupil at Albert Pye Community Primary School said: “We were driving around the Elan Valley looking at the dams when we found the waterfall. We stopped to have a look an I set up my camera tripod in the stream to get a good picture.

“I’ve never won a competition before and I’m also working towards my photography badge in Beavers so this will help - I like the details in the water as it flows over the rocks.”

As our winner, Marcus receives a 12in x 10in framed version of his photo from Picture Studios, of London Road North, Lowestoft.
