Youth admits assault

An 18-year-old youth has admitted assaulting a man in Lowestoft High Street.

Jake Rowlands, of Whapload Road, pleaded guilty before Lowestoft magistrates on Friday to causing actual bodily harm and resisting a police officer after the incident on September 5.

Jake Rowlands, of Whapload Road, pleaded guilty before Lowestoft magistrates on Friday to causing actual bodily harm and resisting a police officer after the incident on September 5.

His 43-year-old victim sustained cuts to the head and bruised ribs after being knocked to the floor and punched and kicked by Rowlands.

He was bailed to return to the magistrates' court on October 8 pending reports.
