WE'RE well pleased as it has been a very good week for us.

From two very tough away games, against two very good teams, we've picked up six points out of six.

We are all very pleased - not only with the points but the performances as well.

Felixstowe is always a tough place to go, and they've signed a couple of Sudbury players recently so with their experience we knew it was going to be a tough game - and that's what it proved to be on Saturday.

We started well and scored a good early goal and got on top, without scoring a crucial second goal. They equalised from a set piece, which was disappointing, and then we started slowly in the second half and they scored another set piece goal.

Being 2-1 down, well it was a battle from then on. We kept pushing and pressing and their goalkeeper had a fantastic game as he kept them in it.

But we got what we deserved and scored two late goals through Jamie Godbold and Dale Cockrill.

All credit to all the boys, they showed a lot of resilience and did not drop their heads as we fully deserved the win in what was a great day at the office.

Wisbech is another tough place to go as they are a hard side to break down, especially on their own patch.

But the boys were awesome. We scored a good early goal to get our noses in front and then finished them off to run out deserved winners.

From two tough games the boys have put in two good performances and put another six points in the bag. We've scored from all areas of the pitch again.

Sides around us will look to keep the pressure on, but if we want to stay where we are we will have to continue to concentrate on ourselves and let the rest take care of itself.

The next game is a tough one at home to Tiptree. We are in good form in general and we want to continue that tomorrow - but we must not get ahead of ourselves.

Jamie Stokeld and Ross King are back from suspension, and apart from Bradley Hough - who is injured - and Darren Cockrill - who is unavailable through work - we will have a full, strong squad to pick from tomorrow.

We have a great squad, which is a nice position to be in. But when you want to win things you need a strong squad, as that is what gets you the trophies over the course of the season.

We've a quality squad, full of good players, and the sign of a good team is how strong the bench is. Ady and I have some tough decisions to make but the players in possession of the shirt know there's fierce competition for places.

Hopefully another big crowd will turn out tomorrow to cheer us on for this tough game.
