Unfortunately, Kirkley & Pakefield FC's fixtures fell foul of the weather once more last Saturday when Harleston called the match off due to their pitch being waterlogged and unplayable.

Then on Tuesday evening the Royals League Cup match against Mulbarton Wanderers had to be called off due to a frozen pitch.

With a full list of Saturday fixtures to be played, this means three more midweek matches will have to be arranged along with those already fitted in.

The latest fixtures to be rearranged, will see Kirkley and Pakefield in action at home on Tuesday, January 31 in the League Cup fourth round against Mulbarton Wanderers, 7.45pm kick off.

On Tuesday, March 7 the Royals will be in league action away at Harleston, 7.45pm KO.

And on Tuesday, March 21, the Royals will be at home to Newmarket Town, 7.45pm KO.

The Walmer Road pitch was playable last Saturday - but the Reserves were also idle after their opponents Stalham Town called off on Friday evening as they were unable to field a team.

This left the K&PFC U23s as the only club team to play.

In their L&DL Division 1 match against AFC Oulton at Dip Farm they fought out a 2-2 draw, to leave both teams in mid-table positions.

This Saturday at Walmer Road sees the official switch-on of the club's new LED Floodlights by Club President and Waveney MP Peter Aldous MP.

This will take place before the kick-off of the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division League match against last season’s Thurlow Nunn Division 1 North Champions Sheringham, 3pm kick off.

The Reserves travel to Plantation Park, Blofield to play Norwich United U21s in a 2pm ko.

On the 3G Arena K&PFC U23s take on Waveney FC A with a 2pm ko.

Next Thursday, January 26 the top of the table AFC Royals U18s play Gorleston at Walmer Road, 7.45pm ko.

The K&PFC U18s travel the same night to play Wroxham.
