Lowestoft Town FC will be holding a series of trials next month for aspiring footballers who are interested in joining the club’s academy.

The trial dates for next season's U13-U16 Centre of Excellence squads have been set - and talented youngsters can book now!

A club spokesman said: "We are seeking the best local talent to step forward and begin their journey with Lowestoft Town FC through the age groups as our Centre of Excellence enters the next exciting phase."

Next season the club's under 13 and under 16 squads will be competing in the Eastern Junior Alliance (EJA) leagues.

The spokesman added: "As we continue to try and provide opportunities for the best local players to play football at the highest possible level, we invite players to attend the upcoming trials to see if they can add to the already talented groups."

"Running parallel to our EJA squads we will continue to run U14 and U15 development squads who will train and represent LTFC in friendly fixtures during school holidays and on training nights.

"The development of these age groups being vitally important to the programme, with the club planning to add them to the EJA in the following seasons."

Trial dates/times for the age groups (as per 2019/20 season) are: U13 - Monday, June 10 and Monday, June 17 5.30pm-7pm; U14 - Thursday, June 20 4.45pm-6pm; U15 - Thursday, June 20 4.45pm-6pm and U16 - Thursday, June 13 4.45pm to 6pm.
