LOWESTOFT’S very own Commonwealth Games silver medallist, Anthony Ogogo, will be the guest of honour at Lowestoft Town’s home game against Horsham tomorrow.

“We are very lucky to have Anthony’s company because he is already in training for his next fight, which will take place next weekend,” a Lowestoft Town spokesman said.

“This is a great opportunity for the people of Lowestoft and the surrounding area to come up to Crown Meadow and applaud our local boxing hero.”

Ogogo has agreed to pose for photographs and sign autographs before the game, and he will be in the social club from just after 2pm before being introduced to the crowd either before kick-off or at half-time., which is yet to be decided.

“Anthony will also feature in the matchday programme with a great question and answer piece - so buy your copy on the day for only £2, they will sell-out quickly!” the club spokesman added.

“I’m sure the Lowestoft Town fans will give Anthony a warm reception and make it a special afternoon, one he will remember for a long time to come.”
