Lowestoft Road Runners held their annual awards night at Giardino Italian Restaurant, when top performances over the season were rewarded.

The club person of the year award went to Leigh Butcher while the female athlete of the year was Karen Archbold and the male athlete of the year Paul Lyon.

The most-improved female athlete was Steph Strowger and most improved male was shared after an equal vote for Ian Chilley and Chris Haylock.

Club standard awards are earned by members who achieve target times over three separate distances throughout the year. John Jervis achieved his gold standard award whil silver standard awards were presented to Tom Galley, Neil Bye, Matthew Sutton and Steph Strowger and bronze standards were awarded to Donna Coleman, Sharon Firman and Ben Hodds.

Club Captain’s awards went to Elayne Hilton and John Jervis.
