RIDGEONS League leaders Lowestoft Town moved comfortably into the Suffolk Premier Cup semi finals with a 3-0 away win at Felixstowe and Walton on Tuesday night.

A flowing move in the opening minute ended with Richard Woodrow giving The Blues the lead with a low shot from 12 yards.

In a stunning opening to the game, Lowestoft doubled their lead in the tenth minute when Ross King scored.

Lowestoft sealed their victory in the 57th minute when Darren Cockrill completed the scoring from the penalty spot.

In the Dolphin Autos Anglian Combination Division One, league leaders Kirkley and Pakefield Reserves suffered a 2-1 home defeat to north Suffolk rivals Sole Bay.

They now remain top on goal difference ahead of Mattishall and Bungay, with neighbours Corton a point behind in fourth place.
