IT'S been a quiet week for us on the pitch, but quite a busy time off it.

We've got a game to win on Saturday so the focus for us has been on this important match and making sure we get everything right for tomorrow.

We lost out to the weather last week, but there's nothing we can do about that. There were seven of the eight Vase ties that didn't get played due to the weather - and this is something we can't control.

We've trained hard on both Tuesday and last night and we're totally focused on tomorrow. We're looking forward to the game - it's going to be hard and we're under no illusions.

They are a good side, and one of the favourites. There's a lot coming out from their camp saying that we're the favourites, but we won't listen to that psychological stuff.

They've got a record that's very similar to ours, play at the same level and beat Leiston in the last round - so they're a quality side.

We know we've got a job to do on Saturday and we're under no illusions. Our mind is totally on the job in hand and we know that if we are right we can cause them problems, both individually and as a unit.

But at the same time we have to guard against them causing us problems if we are not right.

It's a cup game where we've got to show a lot of passion. We have to have the quality, get the basics right, be organised, disciplined and show determination too.

And as with every single game we play we have to have a little bit of Lady Luck. I'm a firm believer in you making your own luck through hard work and determination.

We have one or two with niggling injuries and Cockers has not been well. Hopefully he was going to be at training last night and he'll be available for tomorrow - but whatever happens we'll be picking from a strong squad for the game, weather permitting.

We'll have to be at our best to achieve what we want to achieve - and we know that it is all set up for a really big day tomorrow.

I am sure that Nanna will be looking down upon us.
