The result over the two FA Cup games against Sudbury was deserved. The boys showed great character to come back from 2-0 down on Tuesday, and they've passed another big test.

On Saturday, we should've won it on the day and not needed a replay.

We had great opportunities but did not take them - however the boys were awesome as we took the game to them and dominated for long periods.

We got in front early on after Dale Cockrill converted a cracking move and had opportunities to increase that lead while looking really solid throughout.

We held on until five minutes from the end when they equalised, but we still could've won it as their keeper - who'd been excellent all game - made a great save late on.

It does show how things are going for us though - as to go to Sudbury and only draw disappointed the lads, when they had no need to be down.

It was a really great performance and to bring them back to Crown Meadow was excellent. But on Tuesday we were slow out of the blocks and Sudbury showed why they are a good side who play at a higher level.

We weren't at the races in the first half as they were quick out of the blocks and went 2-0 up with us looking a poor side.

But a half time kick up the backside registered with the boys and all credit to them, they came out in the second half and looked a different side as we were back to our best.

It was end to end when it would've been easy to drop our heads, but we kept pressing and pressing and got our rewards when Darren Cockrill, who we'd pushed up front, scored a far post header and then converted a penalty that took it to extra time.

Neither side could get that crucial goal in an end-to-end 30 minutes and so it went to penalties.

Andy Reynolds then showed why he is the best goalkeeper in this league and was fantastic as he made two crucial saves as we kept our nerve and produced a great victory against a really good side.

This kept our unbeaten run going and all in all it's been a great week.

But now we have another massive week ahead of us and we're only looking ahead to the next game, which will be tough against Kings Lynn Reserves.

I've said it before, but you never know what you will get when you play reserves teams - and we're expecting a really tough game.

It is important if we want to challenge this year in that we want to turn Crown Meadow into a difficult place to play at and come and get a result.

We are therefore fully focused on King's Lynn tomorrow and come 5pm on Saturday all attention will turn to another hard game away at Wroxham - so we've a really big week ahead.

Craig Lewis is now back to fitness, while Matty Potter is a few weeks away, we have no new injury concerns so we'll have a full squad to select from.

Victory over Sudbury was a great result for us this week, but we move on as we look to continue this unbeaten run.
