SS Stars Cheerleading Club (formally IDC Diamonds) are off to Telford over the Easter weekend to compete in the Midlands Classic Cheerleading and Dance Competition.

The all girls team of 18, ranging from ages eight to 16, are hoping to add to their plethora of trophies won at previous competitions. The club rose from the ashes after the sudden departure of founder Anett Allsop. With a new injection of vitality and enthusiasm, with coaches Sam Lyon and Suzanne Harness at the helm, the club has made an amazing turnaround.

Sam and Suzanne decided on a fresh start for 2012 with a change of name and uniform from red/white and silver to a more girly pink/blue and silver. The girls were proud to show off their new uniform to pose for a cover shot for the BCA (British Cheerleading Association) programme for the Midlands Classic Competition.
