Norwich City have offered a trial to teenage striker Conor Washington according to reports from Cambridgeshire.

The 17-year-old frontman currently plies his trade with Hereward Teamwear United Counties League oufit St Ives, and bagged another goal for them at the weekend, his fourth in the league this season.

The 17-year-old frontman currently plies his trade with Hereward Teamwear United Counties League oufit St Ives, and bagged another goal for them at the weekend, his fourth in the league this season.

And according to the club, he has been offered a week's trial with the Canaries which he will take up soon.

St Ives joint manager Jez Hall said: “He's the best player we've had come through in my time at the club.

“He's an established first-team player now and a joy to watch.

“We want him to pay as high as he possibly can.”
