INTERNATIONAL cricketers posed with some local talents as boys from Saint Felix School in Southwold took part in a coach and play scheme.

The youngsters received specialist coaching at the Essex County Cricket ground in Chelmsford. They were treated to an indoor cricket training session with Essex coaches before they watched a county match between Essex and Middlesex.

After the match the boys had tea and were allowed to go out onto the pitch and meet the players, who included England opening batsman Alistair Cook and South African fast bowler Andre Nel.

And after this there were smiles aplenty as the boys returned home with numerous autographs and unique memories.
