Norwich City chief executive David McNally wants the club's new manager appointed “as soon as possible.”

But he dismissed reports linking the club with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, saying: “I don't even know who his agent is.

But he dismissed reports linking the club with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, saying: “I don't even know who his agent is.”

McNally said the club has a shortlist and a pecking order of favourites and added that the successful candidate would not need to have links to the Canaries.
