It's the penultimate game this weekend as K&P travel to bottom of the table Haverhill Rovers who look certainties to go down unless champions Lowestoft Town move across to the Southern League and Tiptree across to the Essex senior league.

In K&P's first home game of the campaign, way back in August they thrashed Haverhill 6-0, and the goals are still flowing with 12 in the last three matches.

At the end of last week's match at Wivenhoe the youngest ever line-up was on the pitch and that in its self is a great testament to K&P's youth policy that bodes very well for the incumbent managers Stewart Larter and Jon Reynolds.

K&P have four straight wins in April and could be in line for the April team of the month award they are also second in the home crowd stats with 198 fans per home match.

The reserves situation is simple -win both their remaining league matches at Scole tomorrow and Wells next week and it is promotion to the Dolphin Autos Anglain Combination Premier Division.

Last week saw a 5-1 win at Gayton with two apiece for Wayne Twomlow and Michael Tacon with Danny Tacon scoring the other. The youth team bring the curtain down on an up and down season with a home match against champions Gt Yarmouth Town on Wednesday (7.45pm kick off).

Diary dates - presentation night on Saturday, May 9, 7.30pm for all teams; Sportsmans night May 15 is sold out, Sunday, July 19 at Walmer Road 11am annual 5-a-side tournament. Application forms available soon.
