AFTER overseeing the most successful season in the history of Kirkley & Pakefield FC with joint managers Stewart Larter and Jon Reynolds at the helm, the club will embark on next season's campaign with a solitary first team manager.

Reynolds will now be in “sole charge” of the Ridgeons League side next season, following a meeting of the club's adult section at Walmer Road on Saturday.

“The management committee decided after much deliberation that they will start the 2010/2011 campaign with one first team manager and they have offered this position to Jon Reynolds, who has accepted the role,” a club spokesman said.

“At this time we would like to place on record our thanks to Stewart Larter for all he contributed to the club last year and we wish him well in whatever future challenges he embarks upon.”
