STILL unbeaten in 2009, K&P travel to the aptly-named Summer Road tomorrow to meet Walsham-le-Willows.

K&P have already played Walsham twice this season and there has been the same outcome - a 1-0 win in the league cup at Willows in October and in a league match at Walmer Road in December.

Walsham are managed by the charismatic Paul Smith, the former Sudbury forward, who has been in charge now for nine years winning the First Division and the Suffolk Senior Cup.

Walsham, with 32 points, are having their best ever season in the Premier Division and are now in 10th place.

K&P had centre half Joe Jefford missing for the second match in a row last week along with Allicion Blake and both face fitness tests before tomorrow's match.

On the fixture front K&P have only four more home games left and nine away.

The latest to be fixed up is the away clash with Stanway, which is pencilled in for Saturday, March 21.

The reserves have no match tomorrow as they are on a fact-finding mission to Prague, but will return in good time to play Long Stratton on Tuesday night in a league match at Walmer Road, kick off 7.30pm. The referee will be V Roper.

There were contrasting fortunes for the A and B teams last Saturday.

Despite a good performance from Shaun Norman's A team, they slipped to a 5-4 defeat at village side Wrentham and weren't helped by having a player sent off.

Al Graham's young B team beat Marquis of Lorne 4-1 after producing some fine free-flowing football.

Both sides are in league action again tomorrow with K&PA at home against Beccles Caxton Reserves and the B team in action at Dip Farm away to Lake Lothing.

The youth team make a visit to Plantation Park next Thursday evening to play Harford Tornadoes, 7.45pm.

K&P's annual presentation night in the marquee has been set for Saturday May 9, whilst the Gentlemans Evening - with a guest speaker and a comedian to be arranged - will this year be on Friday, May 15 at 7.30pm.

Tickets for both events will be available shortly.

Applications for the managers job at K&P FC are still being accepted up to March 1. These need to be sent to Nick Shorten at 4 Yewdale, Carlton Colville, Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR33 8WF.

Alternatively, e-mail with all applications being treated in strict confidence.
