K&P hit six while Lowestoft lose

THE town's top two football teams both suffered another mixed weekend of results.

Kirkley & Pakefield went on a goal spree at Walmer Road to demolish Wisbech 6-1 in the Ridgeons League Premier Division, with a brace of free kicks for Paul Highfield two for striker Jordan Blyth and second half goals for Nathan Stone and substitute Danny Stokeld.

Lowestoft's up and down form continued as they slumped to a 3-1 defeat at relegation-threatened Ipswich Wanderers, despite leading 1-0 at the interval.
